Egg Drop? Not So Much....


Handy hint: when making fast egg drop soup at home you can make a really tasty and totally inedible thing.


I either poured the eggs too fast, or had too much agitation. Or both. The result is a half mushy, half chewy mess, the broth of which tastes lovely.

Bah.

Ah! you made egg clump soup. I've done that once or twice myself.

My daughter requested some recently, I googled a few recipes and made some. It tasted great but in no way resembled restaurant soup. I guess I have to much redneck in the way I cook and added stuff that normally does not go in it.

I kinda hope she does not want me to make it again.
