Little Miss Attitude

We have a new puppy in the house. She is a 14 week old Miniature Schnauzer. We are still working on the name trying to see what her personality is and what will fit her. So far she is faster than a speeding bullet, and has the attitude of a prom queen. She thinks she is all that and a bag of chips!

She is doing well on the house training and she is pretty much Kennel trained so this is all good. She is a smart little thing that has Farmdad wrapped around her little paw and he is blaming ME for spoiling her!

The other dogs are being very careful with her as she is a puppy but they will grow out of that soon. She is only supposed to grow to 12 to 14 inches high so this gives you an idea of how small she really is.

She will be a girlfriend to Farmgirl's fuzzy pup and make some babies to torment others as much as they have tormented us!

  2. Dogs aren't spoiled. They allow us to lavish attention, treats, and toys upon them because they know it makes us feel good.

"Oh, here comes my pet human again with that chew toy. Guess I'll have to spend some more time training him. He's getting SO spoiled..."

  3. Since she is clearly royalty and the destined Matriarch of a clan of magnficent wee beasties, may I suggest a string of names beginning with Duchess. Duchess Velocity von Prolifia del Torino McZippidee Doo-Dah.

    Or something like that.

  5. Well, since she's a Mini Schnauzer, how about the name "Minnie?"

  6. Finally settled on Belle, short for "Jezebel" and she's learning it, although her coming when you call now is more a matter of tone of voice and that she knows she gets attention when she gets there.

  7. At home my mom has two mini schnauzers. Sumi (after the Japanese black ink art) is solid black, and is a graceful princess. Kibo (the Japanese word for "Hope") we got after my dad died, and he is a goof ball, with absolutely no coordination whatsoever, but has a lot of enthusiasm. They are both good for my mom who is now otherwise home alone.

    Congrats!
