If I were you, I'd look into keeping rectal Valium to be given in case of status seizures, which can definitely be fatal if not controlled in time. Valium is a controlled substance and is light sensitive, but most vets are comfortable dispensing it for emergencies. It's ha...I've had/have dogs that suffered seizures. It's hard to watch, since you can only hold them while they ride out the storm.<BR/><BR/>I've never seen one bite, although I guess they could.
