Besides which the on-the-back-of-the-tank filter came with the kit that was on sale for whoa can't pass that up.FarmGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07109427921448753169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7375883121749958694.post-36883591421193018572012-05-10T21:41:13.313-06:002012-05-10T21:41:13.313-06:00Farmgirl, are you running an undergravel filter? I ask because when I was a kid, I had undergravel and the fry would find their way down through the gravel and I'd find them half grown and trapped. I'd have to disassemble the set-up to get them topside.Mustangernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7375883121749958694.post-17816505775351344902012-05-01T08:41:24.198-06:002012-05-01T08:41:24.198-06:00Jennifer, if they overpopulate I'll just move ...Jennifer, if they overpopulate I'll just move some of em to the turtle tank. Either she'll eat them or they'll help keep her tank all cleaned up. These are small ones that the nice man who gave me the plants has successfully managed in his tanks for a long time... since he's an ichthyologist and has several tanks, I figure following his advice on managing my tank can't go FarmGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07109427921448753169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7375883121749958694.post-3649486829304219672012-04-30T17:32:44.754-06:002012-04-30T17:32:44.754-06:00I love it. Watch your snails, they will over populate in a hurry and cause you nitrate problems. A few are great to have though.Jenniferhttp://injennifershead.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7375883121749958694.post-85093655281673294802012-04-29T15:27:55.903-06:002012-04-29T15:27:55.903-06:00LOL, you're just having fun... :-)LOL, you're just having fun... :-)Old NFOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16404197287935017147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7375883121749958694.post-74957929890271527052012-04-29T13:28:37.726-06:002012-04-29T13:28:37.726-06:00At one time, I had an octopus in a salt water aqua...At one time, I had an octopus in a salt water aquarium. I didn't raise fish, but I'd buy fresh water bait fish and keep them in another tank. The octopus didn't mind the distinction and would patiently wait for the evening feeding, which was better than anything on television.Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15969361446367636746noreply@blogger.com
